Sally Svensson is a lyric mezzo soprano from Gothenburg, Sweden. She has a Bachelor of fine Arts in Opera from the Academy of music and drama at the University of Gothenburg and graduated in 2021.

The core in Sally’s artistry is music and storytelling. She wants art to challenge, include, and touch everyone regardless of background. She is constantly striving to expand her expressive range, whether in opera, lied, or oratorio. She ames to portray multifaceted characters and to explore the work and paths to get there.

Sally's love for music has been present since childhood. She was born and raised in Mölndal and grew up in a family full of music. She played various instruments and sang in choir as she grew up. During high school, she studied Music at Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet in Gothenburg. Her music interest grew bigger and the dream of become a singer began to grow.

Since then, she has trained at the Opera Studio Kapellsberg at Härnösands folkhögskola and at The Academy of music and drama, University of Gothenburg.

Sally is passionate about performing arts in all its forms and has an interest in working with cross-genre performing arts. She has also devoted herself to dance for most of her life and has danced ballet, hip hop, and jazz dance.
